Marcia, I am pleased to see that the legislation to review the criminal justice system has passed the House. However, I am especially concerned that the Speaker of the House is conducting, based entirely on race, a jihad against black members of the congress. We cannot have system where very powerful people (The Speaker) can, based on race, condemn others (Rangel and Waters). The Speaker is using race in her determination of who will stand before the Ethics Committee to face up for their crimes. Of course, there are plenty of white representatives who should be before the Ethics committee too, but the Speaker will not let these cases go forward. Not even with the dead ones like Jack Murtha.

Please let me know that we can all enjoy and expect 'equal justice under law'.

Thank you

Even after the Veteran gets a diagnosis from a VA Psychiatrist or Psychologist, they still need their stressor evaluated by the Compensation workers at the VA Regional Office, not just the VA doctors.

This stressor is related to the Veteran’s fear of hostile military or terrorist activity. It means that the Veteran actually experienced, witnessed or confronted an event or circumstance related to “..actual or threatened death or serious injury.. to the Veteran or others.” Furthermore, this stressor has to be “..consistent with the places, types and circumstances of the Veteran’s service.”

These comments are extracted from the VA’s final rule, published in the July13th Federal Register. They comprise 10 pages of text. This change is a significant improvement for Vet’s who suffer certain PTSD stressors. These Vets should still seek the services of a good Veterans Service Counselor, as the rules are still complex.

The vote for healthcare will not be a vote between the Democrats and Republicans, it really is a vote between the Democrats in Congress and the American public. I have a feeling the Democrats in Congress will think they won -- until they see what happens in November. But not to worry Rep.Fudge, the Republicans in the Ohio house gave you a 100% safe district.

The US can no longer afford the foolish and expensive republican jobs bill for Nasa. It makes no sense to pay for this during these difficult economic Times. As for jobs for these people...... retrain them to become teachers....let them learn to do with less like the rest of us.

We have indymac as a lender, we have been trying to get a modification on our loan for over 9 months, they have given us the run around and now we see others have the same problem with this company... we keep sending what they are asking for and they turn around and say we sent it wrong, when we ask for the needed things, it always changes, now they say they want a P/L (profit and loss) for my wife's business, which didn't make over 10,000... we sent what she had, but then they told us it was wrong and would not explain what was really needed.... now we have read from others that the same things have been done to many others..... we also had to go in the hole to even qualify for the program... so now we have been behind one payment just to be able to do it, but in doing so we are in danger of loosing our home and still have not been helped.... we have had CPA's look at what they wanted and no one understands what or why they need what they need, can we get some help from the congresswoman in pressing the company to do right by people trying to say there homes..... please contact me if you can help, thank you

Congresswoman Marcia Fudge and My Soror:

What a day this has been! I am so proud of you and the House of Representatives for your courageous and passionate leadership in passing the House of Representatives' Health Care Reform Bill tonight. You not only made the people of Ohio proud but you made all of us proud when you spoke in support of the Bill on the floor of the House today. I know the late Congresswoman and our Soror Stephanie Tubbs Jones is dancing in heaven tonight because the House of Representatives is leading the way in bringing about health care reform, long overdue in America. Thank you Marcia and now let's finish the job for the American people.

Dear Marcia,

I need you to vote for Health Care Reform. I don't receive health care from my employer and my husband changed jobs. One third of our gross income last year went to health insurance. I don't go to the doctor because the cost only grows and my kids have to come first. We need this Health Care Reform bill to pass and you are the one that can help. Please vote for this bill!

Thank you!

Dear Marcia,
Thank you for supporting the Affordable Health Care Act and supporting a public insurance option. It is, at least, a step in the right direction. I would hope that in future we will eliminate private health insurance altogether in favor of, fully public, yes socialized, system. I support HR 676: "Medicare for all" and hope that you will continue to work for this.

My daughter and her family, including a 3 month-old baby, were just denied coverage by Kaiser for the most rediculous reasons. The baby was denied for being overweight and having been in the hospital!
